Muddy Trax (Cash)
Muddy Trax (Cash) is a registered 7 year old Missouri Fox Trotter gelding. We had been looking for a Missouri Fox Trotter for a while, my father has severe back pain and needed a new gaited horse. We found Cash for sale on dreamhorse.com and took one look at his sweet, expressive eyes and went all the way to Missouri to look at him. My dad liked him when he rode him around and we were told he was an excellent trail horse so we purchased him and took him home. At first we thought we were going to have to take Cash back because he was swinging his butt and kicking out at us. My mother was very worried and was only going to give him a little bit of time before we took him back to Missouri. We slowly learned that Cash was an incredibly sweet, lovable he was just a big chicken. He was very nervous around humans he didn't know and didn't trust us at first. He has outgrown his fear of us, and is now a very sweet boy. Though he is still nervous of fly spray, fly masks, and other things but he will only flinch and tuck his tail. He no longer kicks out or tries to run away. Even though he does have these issues he is surprisingly a very good trail horse.
Cash is used by my father for trail riding and he has been very good, he is not afraid of much, other then the occasional man-made thing. My father likes him a lot and he is 16.3hh, which is perfect for my father's height. We will have Cash for a long while and Cash will continue to grow out of his nervousness and with aging will probably become a bombproof trail horse. I hope that Cash has a long life with my father and that they continue to grow a bond with each other.
